J. KALOLO - BUNDALA He
holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Dar es Salaam (1987). He worked with the
Attorney General's Chambers from April 1987 to December 1987, and later on with the
Tanzania Legal Corporation (the largest law firm in Tanzania) (1988-1995), as Legal
Counsel where he gained a practical experience in advocacy and expertise on a wide range
of disciplines which enabled him to be a specialist in litigation of commercial disputes,
labour and tax matters, conveyancing and media law. Mr. Kalolo has also acted as legal
advisor to a number of state-owned corporations and receivership of some of them. He has
given legal opinions on several issues to the Parastatal Sector Reform Commission (PSRC)
with respect to the ongoing privatization programme. He is a member, Tanganyika Law
Society as well as East Africa Law Society.
